Everyone can follow some tips so that  their staircase is cleaner  and safer for their family.  Stairs are sometimes the most  often walked area in the house, dust and dirt can build up very easily and cause major problems in your home.

Depending on your type of stairs there are always a few things that you can do to keep them clean.

If you have wooden stairs

  1. When cleaning the stairs always start from the top and work down.
  2. Sweeping or brushing the stairs, especially in the corner is always one of the best ways to avoid build up and unnatractive colour spreadin on your stairs.
  3. Keep your eye out for scratches and dents in your floor, this will give you a good idea when to add a new finisher to your floor. 
  4. Remember to mop atleast twice a week, this can also be paired with a deep clean using a cup of vinegar and a litre of water. 

There are other things that can help keep your stairs just as clean as you need them, take your shoes off at the bottom of the stairs, lay down a carpet if your are wanting a change, there are many things that you can do to your stairs to make your life easier.
