    Exceptional Experience From The USA
    We live in the U.S. and were looking for a contractor to do a complete rebuild of our home in Somerset West. After speaking with friends who had engaged home renovation contractors from a distance, we had prepared ourselves for a less than positive experience, filled with communications gone awry and expensive mishaps. But fortunately for us, we didn’t experience any of this. In fact, our experience was exceptional from start to finish and the project outcomes far exceeded our expectations. This was entirely due to our good fortune to have contracted with Nathan Francis from Deacon Blue Renovators. Nathan is an absolute joy to work with. From the outset we could tell he was one of a kind. He listened to our ideas and transformed them into an affordable vision with an aggressive timeline. Project milestones were established and met. Budget estimates served as accurate guideposts, and we relied on his good judgment and counsel throughout to inform choices and decisions. He attends to minute detail and is a masterful project manager. He was incredibly helpful in sourcing and coordinating various subcontractors. Nathan is reliable, responsive, and resourceful. Our overall experience with Deacon Blue Renovators has been truly exceptional and we are forever grateful to Nathan and his team for everything they have done for us. We highly recommend Deacon Blue Renovators!!!

    Well Managed Cross Border Project. On Time & Within Budget.
    I bought a property in Somerset West which needed extended renovations. The problem was that I was based in Zambia and had very limited time available to be in South Africa during the renovation period. I mentioned this to the architect who recommended Deacon Blue Renovators as they had the project management expertise in managing complex projects including cross border based clientele. He was very confident that Deacon Blue could deliver the project within the limited time frame and within the set budget. After speaking to Nathan from Deacon Blue, he provided me with past client contacts, whom I contacted. All of these references were extremely happy with the work supplied by the team and by Nathans approach to identifying creative solutions and problem solving. Having appointed Deacon Blue, I am happy to report that the project was completed exactly on time and within budget despite having to deal with extremely unfavorable weather conditions during the project. We had telephone calls twice a week with which Nathan kept me hundred percent up to date with the progress of the project. I am extremely happy with the quality of work provided by the team and only received compliments on the standard of building work supplied. What was further impressive, was the quality of sub-contractors and suppliers used. Basically, all the sub-contractors used became part of my support system to sort out any further repairs and maintenance at my house. Handing over fairly large amounts to Nathan for the project had me a bit nervous in the beginning but I soon learnt that I have nothing to worry about as his feedback and accountability was precise. I can highly recommend Deacon Blue Renovators as an outstanding team for any size building project.

    Excellent Long Distance Renovation Experience
    Deacon Blue Renovators renovated our entire house with great professionalism and care! Nathan maintained excellent communication as we organized our renovation from the Bahamas, and was incredibly thorough with providing quotes from outside contractors and explaining options along the way.     Service & Quality Beyond Comparison
    Before contracting with Deacon Blue we’ve had four or so experiences with builders and renovations, so I’ve been programmed to expect cost overruns, delays and mini dramas on all fronts. In short; stress and aggravation. What a pleasant surprise then to experience something completely different. Nathan and his Deacon Blue team were on time, within budget based on estimates up front, and attended to all the details that really make a difference. Their service and the quality of their end product is beyond comparison. I will never ever work with anybody else ever again. Not only does Nathan plan and communicate expertly upfront, he also executes accordingly, and when there were small glitches with subcontractors this was sorted out immediately with no loss or inconvenience to us. In a blink of an eye we had all the changes we required with the experience being a pleasure all round. We actually missed the team when they left. Nobody says that about a builder.

    From the first call we had you were a pleasure to deal with and have been great at guiding us through this process, accommodating our requests with ease and really delivering on the briefs. The foreman has also been really nice and was very attentive to any concerns I brought up when I popped in to the house during the day.     On Time, On Budget Craftsmanship
    Deacon Blue Renovators did major renovations and add on's to my house in Helderberg Village late last year. I was delighted with the on time, on budget craftsmanship. Six months later I noticed a settling crack in the new extension and phoned Nathan to advise. He promptly organised a team to come and remedy the problem. With neatness and competence all was made right. Excellent, friendly service. I wish all providers were as outstanding as this company. I unreservedly recommend Deacon Blue Renovators and I'm happy to show off their work to any Interested parties.
