Fidelity ADT has been responding to customer needs for over 150 years. Way back in 1874, the American District Telegraph Company, ADT was formed through the merger of several small telegraph delivery companies.

In the beginning, ADT messengers would collect and deliver telegraphs from customers’ homes or businesses. As technology progressed, customers could send an electric signal and a Fidelity ADT messenger would respond.
