Post 39 Build it Journey

Blog Post 39

I was up at 5 00 am this morning and having a lovely walk before 6 00 am on the Bushmen’s side of Kenton along the amazing beach there. The sun was rising and the sea was crisp and the beach sand white. What an amazing way to start the day.

After a lazy breakfast – I stopped and got the paper on the way home – I went off to meet absolute legend Louis Hattingh owner of Mega Build It in Bushman’s. What an amazing store he has too with a huge nursery out the back and birds of all colour and beauty. I spent a good couple of hours with Louis and I was so grateful for his time. He really enjoyed learning more about our website and definitely was very enthused about the positive impact it is having on his Build It store.

I then headed back home to catch up on some much needed admin, which I always feel relieved after having done. I am one of those guys that are not brilliant at admin and tend to do it in spurts and all done at one time. We are all different I suppose smiley

I was all done with my work by mid afternoon and so wandered about trying to find a TV which I eventually did and watched cricket for a few hours and was satisfied to see South Africa getting the better of Australia. I had a lovely dinner and was in bed early for what turned out to be one of my busiest days yet in the morrow. I have had a lovely stay in Kenton and got to know the place well. What a beaut place it is. Thank you so much to my wonderful hosts Colette and Patrick Barff and of course to Jenny who showed me around and looked after me so well while I have been here.
